Rocky Mountain High

So, today was exhausting and emotional. The moving company came and picked up all of my stuff, and it just made everything seem so real and final. I haven’t been in denial about the coming move…just so busy that I really haven’t had a lot of time to think about it. These past few weeks have been moment by moment…which I feel was God’s way of keeping me from having a nervous breakdown. But today, all of my possessions were packed in 38 cardboard boxes (yes, I counted) and loaded in the back of a truck. So here I sit in an empty bedroom that DESPERATELY needs to be vacuumed, and it’s all sinking in. I’m really excited about moving to Colorado, and incredibly pumped about my new job. But of course, I’m nervous. Moving somewhere new is HARD. I have to make all new friends, I have to find a church, blah blah blah.

Anyway, Thursday is the big day. I fly out in the afternoon (if I can find a ride to the airport…ha!), my stuff will (hopefully) get there Friday, and I start working Tuesday. It’s going to be a crazy few weeks, so if you don’t see me on here, that’s why. Also, if you want my new mailing address, just drop me an email and I’ll send it along!
